Mya Thompson, M.A.
Myaisha "Mya" Thompson is the Academic Coordinator, overseeing all the aspects of the application, admissions and graduation process for the Center.
She moved to Virginia in 2014 from the Midwest and attended VCU for her undergraduate degree. While pursuing her degree, she also worked in the Department of Parking and Transportation. After graduating with her bachelor’s in Sociology in 2018, she worked in the non-profit sector focusing on education and empowerment of students and families.
Mya completed her master’s degree in Executive Leadership from Liberty University in 2020. She has a passion for being a servant leader and assisting others in their educational journey, which led her to the CSL. She is a lifelong learner and seeks opportunities of professional and personal growth.
