Mike Hafdelin is from Richmond, Virginia. He attended James Madison university, where he earned a B.S. in Sport and Recreation Management. During his time at JMU, he gained valuable experience as an intern for JMU’s Sport Network’s live broadcast team. He worked on live broadcasts with roles ranging from camera operator to sideline reporter. He also worked part-time with JMU Athletics as a Building Manager and Event Operations Assistant.
He currently serves as the VCU Sports Properties Learfield Graduate Assistant, while also doing part-time work at both the Foundry Golf club and as a Sport Data Specialist for Tony Britt’s Spottercharts. Mike is looking to leverage his GA into a career in athletics sales.
