AnnaBelle Tomei is a native of West Chicago, Illinois. She graduated from Oakland University in 2023, majoring in Marketing and Finance, and Virginia Commonwealth University, with a Graduate Certificate in Media and Leadership in the Spring of 2024. AnnaBelle was a standout, four-year starting setter at Oakland and was a board member on Oakland’s Student-Athlete Advisory Committee where she served as Co-chair of the DEI council. At VCU, she also had an outstanding year of play, starting all 30 games and had the team-high of 561 assists. AnnaBelle returns to VCU to be a graduate assistant for the women’s volleyball program. AnnaBelle strives to be a passionate leader who leads with empathy and hopes to pursue a career as a collegiate volleyball coach.
