Adam Ankel is from Chatham, New Jersey. He attended James Madison University in Harrisonburg, Virginia, where he earned a B.S. in Sport and Recreation Management with a minor in Business. During his time at James Madison University, Adam was a member of the JMU Club Water Polo team, where he served as Social Chair. He was also a member of the Kappa Sigma fraternity, serving as Philanthropy Chair. Adam was named to the Dean’s List during his junior year in 2023. Adam also completed an internship in Berlin, Germany, with the Berlin Thunder, where he assisted with various functions of a professional American football organization. This experience provided him with insight into the international sports industry and the day-to-day operations of a professional sports team.  He currently serves as a Ticket Operations Graduate Assistant at Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU). Adam is eager to continue his education at VCU while expanding his knowledge of the sports industry.
